No the Aryan term existed before they mixed with native Iranian and Indian populations, they basically passed down the term to us. Its called assimilation.

not sure about that, they didnt passed it own on the others like in europe. anyways those aryans in the east established much higher civilisations despite mixing with australoids and dravidians then the ones in russia or slavs. ancient slavs basically were unrecorded in history until recently.

Actually ancient Iranians and Indians had already established advanced civilizations before the arrival of the so called Aryans. What the Aryans did is that they introduced advanced warfare to these people that got them to create big competitive empires (Median Empire, Achaemenid Empire), the Romans are most likely a result of Indo-European warfare culture, those people pulled off an Empire that lasted for 2000 years if you count the birth and death of both the West and East Roman Empire (Byzantines).

To me steppe nomad doesnt sound like what romans did, they had the wheel i heard and chariots but not the armies and state romans had. Romans had a state and army etc. to me the steppe warfare sounds more like what mongols had and how they conquered others, on horses and such. But Im no expert.

Its a mix of two different societies, one civilized and another warfare like. Those two combinations were very succesful for the Romans, Greeks and Iranian people (Persians, Medians, Scythians, Sarmatians). The Indians also benefited from this but they mostly kept themselves to the South Asian continent.

If we're talking Yamna ancestry than it's Baltics, Finland, Russia, and Norway but ironically a lot of these countries are finno-ulgric and not 'indo-european' at all...

In fact in Finnish language the word 'Orja'/'Orya' is loanword of indo-European 'Arya' and means slave... not noble at all.


Anyways I believe now that 100% Aryan people look like this Nuristani. And I think it's interesting to note the lack of freckles in a lot of the middle-eastern redheads as well, which must've developed or originated in Europe rather than with the Indo-Aryans.


This is cool because you can find the exact same headwear, the Kausia, in Ancient Greece. And if I'm not mistaken these profiles do look Iranian in general.

Yes but I was referring to how it's ironic that they are the most 'Aryan' genetically (Finnish/Estonian), yet speak a finno-ugric language.
