Germany continues to create jobs not just for itself but for the rest of Europe. Spain looks set to be the fastest growing of the larger eurozone economies this year – whereas Italy is projected to be the slowest. Italy has barely grown since the euro was introduced in 1999

It is the euro and Germany's fiscal policies that's a huge burden on Italy.

The financial crisis is not a burden on Germany at all, which has made trillion of euros because of it, and thus has every incentive to perpetuate the crisis.

You'll w8 a lot delusional, Italy is recovering, and will grow up during the next years. Unfortunately Italy suffered much more the crisis unlike other countries this is why it takes a lot. Things were better with the Lira.
