That type of degeneracy is only really seen in a few spots of San Francisco or Berkeley. It's not the rule for the vast majority of the state. Even if most people here vote Democrat, most are just normal, working people who pay bills and just get along with each other.

I'm not a Democrat, because I actually hate how corrupt the party is. But I can see why the Democrats would win a majority of the minority vote, even if their appeal to racial equality and identity politics is superficial, they are making an effort to include minorities. Whereas with the Republicans, there is a strong undercurrent of White nationalism that is exclusionary towards minorities, although I wouldn't say this is the mainstream of the party. But the impression is there.

California gets a bad rap on conservative boards, but the reality is that most people in the state identify with being American, and are good working people and get along with each other regardless of race. Racial hostility is pretty minimal in the Bay Area actually.

Your stance on US politics is primarily in opposition to the government's war machine, which I am in line with you. The reality is both the alt right and the "alt left" (SJW's, etc) are also in opposition to the war machine. The alt right is primarily against the war machine because they see it as a disastrous focus and waste of our resources that should've been spent rebuilding our economic infrastructure at home. The alt left is against the war machine because of these same reasons, plus they see it as oppression against non-White peoples abroad. But the vast majority of the US population are pretty apathetic about politics beyond any superficial level, and that's why even though the vast majority of viable presidential candidates in the past election were against more wars, it has barely impacted the agenda of the deep state.
