Less snow than my hometown in the winter. I would live there if I knew the language, I've been to Finland before but not any major cities.

There is more (%) swedish speaking people in Åbo (Turku) than in Helsinki, but Tammerfors (Tampere) is opposite.

Still with all these 3 big cities of Finland...the big majorities are Finnish speakers.

I think I would. I prefer the cold to the heat and I'd get to see the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun (two things I've always wanted to see).

Not really. I would live there a bit for the experience of seeing something else otherwise... the sun is too absent and the language a bit obscure.

If I had a good reason to live there - why not? As a Northern European I'm not afraid of Winter. However, I would prefer Tallin over Helsinki. Tallin is a city with a much longer history.
