Default England Under-17s win the World Cup

England's youngsters made history when they won the World Cup on Saturday
In a thrilling encounter they pulled off a sensational 5-2 victory over Spain
But the BBC cut the broadcast short and instead switched to Gardeners' World

For England’s footballing lions, it has been an impossible dream for more than 50 years – but not for our lion cubs.
In a thrilling encounter in India yesterday, England pulled off a sensational 5-2 victory over Spain in the Under-17s World Cup Final.
Having fallen two goals behind, the youngsters – who swept aside Brazil in the semi-final – fought back with a goal blitz.

Rather superiority of the English (and Spanish) school of football.

Otherwise an African country would have won it.

The question remains as to why black men are greatly over-represented in the England team.

blacks simply tend to be faster ... and while i am not an expert i assume you need to be quick other than strong and resistant to be a good football player .

their muscles are a bit different than those of caucasians and asians generally

England has changed their method of schooling younger up and coming footballers. This change occurred i think after they failed to make the Euros back in 2008 and the results are finally showing now. Even the teams that are just getting promoted from the championship now play (or at least attempt ) from the back with short passes. This is surreal to me because I use to remember that not too long ago there were only few top teams in the Premier league that didnt deploy the 4-4-2 hoofball tactics. Times are changing I guess.

This Under 17 team were also runners up to Spain in the UEFA tournament. As the article states, also won the other youth (Under20) World Cup. Only Brazil in 2003 have won both youth World Cups in the same year before. England also won the UEFA Under 19 tournament in the summer for the first time. Best year for the national side at youth level ever.

Whether these kids get a realistic chance with their club teams given the amount of money currently in the domestic game...

That would probably be attributed to the overseas influence. Both managers of the Championship victor (Rafael Benitez) and play-off winner (David Wagner) were from continental Europe.
