If I remember correctly there was some study where some Finland-Swedish group had around 40% N1c1. Can't now find it. Could of course differ from region to region. Motärhead Remember Me was a Finland Swedish poster here who's y-dna was N1c1. Anyway I think there must be a reason why all the Finland Swedish y-DNA projects are set on Private

Hehe indeed. I wonder what kind if I1 Finland-Swedes have though. R1a is high in North-Central Sweden aswell, especially in areas with a lot of contact with Finland like Hälsingland and Gästrikland.

Well; like I posted somewhere...atleast here in Ostrobothnia some Finnish families turned to Swedish (changed their familynames etc.).

Do you Harkonnen trust on this picture?
Have you ever hear that high I1 %? I have hear about 40% (somewhere in Ostrobothnia), and those are already higher than anywhere in Sweden ... but never over 50%.

Linguistically no. Geographically Finland is part of Fennoscandia. Genetically Finns tend to be, well mostly Finns, many having some Scandinavian stuff as well (seen a lot of 30% results which will pop out soon in my test as well, might have a lil bit more or less than my other family members). I'm not a typical Finn however but i do have a typical Scandinavian share that Finns tend to have, around 30%, if it really matters.

I don't see them as Scandinavians or Mongols... just as Finns. I don't include Iceland in Scandinavia either, but that's my own preference.

Since when Denmark,Norway,Sweden and Finland are practically the same country - Nordic Council, I suppose Finns are also considered Scandinavians by most Swedes.
No idea how Danes and Norwegians are considering them.
