My mother language is SWEDISH! Just like both of my parents!

For me...Sweden Finn is a pure Finn (culturelly, genetically, ethnically) who has moved to live in Sweden. There are lots of those....

My bestfriend is in relationship with a Swede Finn in Western Finland and she's often explaining that they are actually a minority which is not protected by any status and are often victim of a kind of "racism" against them by Finns speaking Finnish. She's always defending them as a minority because she also said that Finnish governement is willing more and more to suppress their culture in the country.

Another of her arguments is that actually they contributed a lot for the country and that the others Finns are ungrateful towards them. She's afraid that Swedish is going to disappear in Finland in the next decades.

I'm not sharing his opinion and views but since she's living there with a native Swede Finn etc I think her point of view is interesting to be shared. I hope I shared it in the proper terms and that I didn't misunderstood her though.
