i d love to donate , tried , but my valors were always not good enough. as i often have some deficiency like iron deficiency

Ok. I go to donate blood because of good purpose/target (hospitals needs it), but it is also good to get your own blood checked time to time.
My blood has been just ok (keeping minds that girls B-Hg are bit lower than guys)....but it has always been good enough to donate.

I am the infamous type O negative which is the screwed blood type.

I can give blood to everybody but can only receive from another O-

We can get one transfusion from O+ if no other choices, then we will developp the antigen if we have never been exposed already. In practice we can recieve O+ but this is a one shot thing.

Of course as it is hell other issue. Humans will create new blood (naturally) all the time, but organs...if you loose one; you loose it.
Person will survive with one kidney only, but to donate another....I would do that behalf of my own (future) child.

Of course one can create a testament that if you'll get killed in car accident etc. you can donate your organs...but honestly I have never think about that (as ''dark thoughts'') seriously.

No, I mean as rates compared to other countries. We are likt no#1 in blood donation, and last place in organ donation.

Rh Negative is much rarer than Rh Positive, and is mostly found in Europe and among Jews. Particularly high among Basques.
