My great-great or great-great-great grandfather, on my paternal grandmothers side, was a rich immigrant who came to the USA, via London, through Canada. He was in charge of making sure president Lincoln's dead body made it, during the long travel, to his grave unscathed.
There were vandals that wanted to desecrate it for political reasons etc...

King David- and no I'm not kidding.
Apparently, my Great uncle has a family tree up to King David. The surname of that side also suggests that kind of connection. I guess a lot of Jews are descended to him but it is kind of nice to know.
Wallace Nutting is related to me by my maternal grandfather's paternal line. Then there's more information (here) on other Nuttings who are somewhat notable by relation to John and Wallace Nutting.

I am a direct descendant of Pocahontas. I am also indirectly related to Thomas Jefferson, but I come from a long line of prominent Virginian families. I am 8th cousins with Wayne Newton.
King Edward III and some others. But a lot of people have Royal blood anyway.
Here is my namesake:

One of my 5th great-grandfathers, Charles King, was a senator in the South Carolina Assembly, and a delegate to the South Carolina Provincial Convention in 1776 that wrote the state's first constitution (he was also the great-grandfather of Confederate general. Georgia governor and US Senator John B. Gordon, and Kings Mountain on the SC/NC border, site of a pivotal battle in the Revolution, is named after him).

I have some kind of noble ancestry, not a big name but I have a picture even from the crest somewhere in a book where my grandpa has collected these family line things.
