I don't know if ballads fit in here too, but you can say what you want about the Scorpions, „Still Loving You“ is the most wonderful ballad of a metal / hard rock band ever. (Whereas „Wind of Change“ is trash imo.)

My favorite Scorpions song is "No One Like You" because my long ago on and off boyfriends would sing/dedicate it to me.

Yes!!! Thats a very good one too! I forgot that. I have it on tape.
And one of the best Scorpions non-ballad songs is imo "Like a Hurrican".

I like it, but didnt know it.
There are very few bands not repeating themselves after being active for a longer time and so you can recognize patterns after a while if you are halfway musical (ACDC very much for example, I‘d say) - so this is a typical Scorpions song, remembering me of many other ones of them.
One of the seldom bands not repeating themselves is YES. They wrote „Owner of a Lonely Heart“ (played on each party and I loved it, but never took notice of the band behind for some reason though) and I never recognized that that was the same 70s band I used to listen to, because the style is so different.
