Danes to me look a bit more German but I'm no expert as far as that goes. People might disagree with me.

There was a genetic study done on the Danes recently.








Surprisingly they are more similar to British and then Sweden. This is using ADMIXTURE analysis.

For me Danes are purest Germanics togheder with north Dutch (Frisians).

They look more angular/cm in general.

You're welcome. Yes some of these studies do throw up a few surprises. There have been some interesting ones in the past with the Bretons sharing more IBS with the Irish than the French but I guess that is not such a big surprise really. This one is a bit unexpected. I don't think I've ever seen a study done on the Norwegians which would be very interesting with their incursions into Ireland and Scotland.

A FineSCALE study is coming out on Ireland hopefully in the next 6 months. Apparently they found Norwegian admixture there and also some Irish clusters in Europe. I've been waiting for that one to come out for ages. I hope more countries are studied while it is still possible due to people moving around so much these days and also immigration.
