Lingustically we are closest to norwegians.
Culturally we are equally close to both.
Genetically closer to southern swedes in particular.
Phenotypically also southern swedes.

I think we danes are really interresting genetically, cause it's like yes, we are clearly mostly scandinavian, we knew this.
But then theres this weird thing were we resemble brits alot(as the only scandinavians), and often more than our immediate southern neighbours (germans)
It's like something weird happened in history, we must have contributed immensly to the genetic makeup of modern brits, even though it's been proven that generally an average brit only has 9,2% admixture from scandinavia. They do however have on average 32% anglo/saxon/jutish admixture, which we obviously also have a lot of ourselves. So really interresting.

I know one or two platinum people in Croatia (both men though) so I find hard it to believe. It's mostly Finnic/Baltic trait

It is a Germanic & Finnic shared thing in my impression. I know only one Polish adult man who has it, whereas multiple Germans. In Polish population the actual frequency could be 0.05% whereas in Germany it might be authentic, full %.

Norwegian Bokmal is basically Danish with a quirk or two. Swedish on the other hand has more external loanwords (especially from Finnish), making it less mutually intelligible.

Pretty much this. Yes, your are linqustically closer to Norwegians than to Swedes (I'll skip Scania dialect away now).
Despite of that you did not allow Norwegians to speak their own language but forced them to speak Danish .
Yup, they still remember that era under Danish crone. Later Sweden's time was different.

I wonder are ethnic Scania (Skåne) people closer to Brits than rest of Swedes?
