Only 5-6% of the basic vocabulary, so this 30% is an absolute wrong data. Mosly pre-10th century origin words from the lost Uralic vocabulary or extinct languages or extinct words from old languages.

The only measurable value is the basic vocabulary. Because the full is basically limitless because the neologism, etc.
Based on the main etymological dictionaries:
70% internal formation from the elements of the vocabulary
25% other --> see below
5% unknown
The others (25% of the basic vocabulary, the words with direct Uralic or external etymology):
Uralic: 78%,
Medieval and Classic Latin: 5%
International: 4%
Türkic: 3%
Slavic: 4%
German: 2,5%
Italian: 1%
Iranic: 1%
English: 0,3%
French: 0,1%
Romanian: 0,1%
Other: 1% (Gypsy, Yiddish, Greek, etc.)
This is what we use from the simple workers to the educated peoples in the everyday communication from the streets to the periodicals. However, the size of the basic vocabulary is not an exact thing, this data is an average only.
