Being EU member and being Euro ethnicity are different things.
For example south Cypriots are Semitic Christian Levantines but they are EU.

Yes, that might be true, but the EU would only degrade Turkey if it enters. It will become a chaotic society and they will full Turkey with refugees. Turkey should say no to the EU. The EU will emasculate and destroy Turkey if it enters. I see a very bad fate for it. Turkey might want to enter the EU for economic prospects but it already does better than many European nations anyways.
