He can pass as an Anatolian/Turk though. He has a pan Middle Eastern look. He can pass as Moroccan to even Georgian.

Anyway, Turks usually look diverse. There are Med Turks, Baltid, Armenoid, Dinarid and even Arabid and Nordid ones. Durmaz is really Med looking, and Turks generally look Med. Saying that a Med person can't pass as Turkish is really bold.
