I just had an epiphany, so better write it down before it gets lost. Anyway it's known Slavic people were once very Dolicephalic and suddenly became Brachycepehalic coinciding with the time of invasions by war-like horsemen Huns, Avars, etc. I propose Brachycephaly was an adaptation to war and getting your skull pounded hard in battles, look:
Meet Graham, the ugly face of road safetyIn an effort to convince drivers that their bodies are highly vulnerable in road accidents, trauma surgeons, accident researchers and a sculptor have designed a model of what a person would have to look like to survive a crash.
The character they have called Graham is certainly the strong, dependable type but he is far from attractive.
He has a large, thick, shock-absorbing skull but no neck to reduce whiplash injury.
