I'm not offended, stop saying that. It's stupid, I didn't write anything that would suggest that. It's just factually wrong, that's all. They do look closer to northern Greeks and it is well documented by anthropologists. You can even google photos simply. Romanians have a lot of darker-pigmented slavic looking types you won't find in either Albania or Greece.

They can look like Arvanites in Epirus (which borders Albania) and other places were Arvanites settled, but on average they really don't look like Greeks at all

I want to correct something. There are not Arvanites in Epir. Arvanites are Albanians who during the middle age migrated from South Albania, i.e. Epir in Greece. The Albanians of Greek part of Epir call themselves Shqiptarë, i.e. Albanians, like us. Meanwhile Arvanites continue to preserve the meddieval name, Arbërorë but also they use Shqiptarë.

Yeah but in Greece we call those in Epirus as Arvanites, I know that in their dialect they call themselves Sqhiptar

[QUOTE=brennus dux gallorum;4777189]I think that Greece is intermediate, between S. Slavs and Mediterranean Europeans[/QUOΤΕ]

I disagree here, I don't view Greece as an intermediate of anything, especially as something between Spain and FYROM/Bulgaria, which is wrong imo.
