You are right about no Christians but there are Nakhs in Tusheti. The Bats people are Christian Nakhs, they are Georgian/Nakh mix. Tushetians are very close to Chechens (especially Melhi tribe), they werent conquered but they were under the rule of a Chechen warrior named Dzhokolo. He was a Christian and was against Muslims under Imam Shamil.

Batsbi are partly Nakh, their language is Nakh actually, but they are minority among Tushetians, other Tushs are Kartvelians. So Tusheti is not a Nakh land as Lezgin said. Kists is another story.

I never said Tushetians were Chechen or Nakh, i said that the Tush were vassals of a Chechen warlord during the 1800s hence why there are Nakhs living there and why there are Nakh towers.

We are neighbors so we are influencing each other. Chechens used georgian alphabet before islamisation. There are Georgian churches here and there in North Caucasus. That does not mean that North Caucasus is Georgian land.

I agree but Chechens dont use Georgian and there isnt anything Georgian in Chechnya today. Whereas Tusheti region has lots of Nakh influence till this day. Im not agreeing on that its "Chechen land" though.
