Elsagate, in short, is the phenomenon of wildly inappropriate videos, masked as innocuous kids' entertainment, being targeted toward children on YouTube. It's particularly suspicious due to the following reasons.

1) The sheer MAGNITUDE of the issue. There are MANY channels involved and it's very common for their videos to generate several MILLIONS of views.

2) The overwhelming consistency among said videos. These are different channels based all across the world, but share such common themes as pregnancy, syringes, gore, sex and over-the-top bathroom humor.

3) The ease of how such material is accessed. Search "Elsa" (a popular Disney character) on Youtube - nothing more, just "Elsa" - and see what happens. When you find a suitable example, click it and check the recommended videos (but not before catching a glimpse at the subscriber count).

I feel sick. For reasons that I cannot explain, a particular video was recommended to me on YouTube. Just from the thumbnail I could tell it was no good, but nonetheless I clicked it out of curiosity. Down the rabbit hole I went.

There are MANY videos on YouTube of children - practically always girls, from what I can see - in questionable situations. Seemingly without exception they seem to be wearing skimpy bikinis, a t-shirt and underwear, or a skirt that always seems to afford the viewer an inappropriate view.

As of now I've reported only a couple, as it can be difficult to discern what's clearly over the line and what YT would probably, unfortunately, give a pass to. But one that I did report was of a girl no older than six deliberately lifting her skirt to the viewer. And that was used as the video's thumbnail.

I've already known of this matter for a while, but I simply wasn't aware that it was this bad. These videos can get hundreds of thousands of views in just a matter of days. Do you still want to live on this planet? I don't.

I was thinking about posting one video just so you could have access to this stuff for reporting purposes, but I'm not convinced that would be wise.

But if you do come across this material, report, REPORT, REPORT! Just look at the view count and the likes. This shit is serious; show no mercy.

Look at the views, particularly as it relates to the upload date. Look at the thumbnails of the related videos. Look at the likes. .....Then log into your account and do your part. The report button is right next to the "add" button.

Note how even though these videos use a wide variety of different children and are uploaded to many different channels, a very large number of them are titled with very similar formatting. Draw your conclusions. Also note the most common theme of these videos: little girls' underwear.
