I have never said she can't sing, but definitely her head voice is not the best of her!
She has a good lower-middle register! She is not excelling in the higher register! That's normal for mezzos.
A good example for a black singer(she was more mullato) who sang very good in the higher register is Minnie Ripperton

The best composers were whites: Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Wagner, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, etc.
For the pop music John Lennon was the best composer!
In opera the best singers are all whites: Pavarotti, Carreras, Domingo, Corelli, Di Stefano, Kaufmann, Dessay, Callas, Caballe, Garanca, Netrebko, etc.
Black are good only in the R&B, hip-hop, this laughable genres.
