Women: How much makeup do you use?

Just curious.

I've never used makeup in my life because I can get away without it (most people assume I'm 10+ years younger than I am).

But the question came to mind after Heathers's taxonomy post about some 'singer' who barely 15 is covered in makeup. It brought to mind a friend who is younger than me & yet, thanks to makeup, looks older.

I love eyeliner/eye pencil so much. I always use it. I use other things according as my mode. Blushing, powder, mascara.. I usually dont use lipstick. Also I dont prefer to use eyeshadow.

For work, I never put make up. I have absolutely no energy to get ready for work... I prefer to sleep 10 minutes more & who cares about being pretty for colleagues... I put make up only for few events (meetings, trade shows...) when you obviously don't have the choice.

I try to put a little bit of make up the week end when I go out -if I am not enough lazy- but I'm a terrible make up artist so nothing very exuberant.

I hate foundation and will never put that thing on my face.

Imagine yourself exhausted at 7:20am trying to put mascara & eye liner when you have to leave the house at 7:30am, taking the car to spend 1 hour in the traffic ONLY to stay the whole day in front of a computer... in that case, believe me you have other priorities than looking pretty & fresh ... such as sleeping 10/20 minutes MORE

Yeah really winged eye liner wants a extra exertion. And I have never do it in first touch. I dont remember when did I do it last time. Puff just put a line and nevermind wings
