Alright so for the most time i've just been using Gedmatch as i THOUGHT was an accurate tool but it seemed not so ive been trying 2 new calculators and the results are very interesting but weird. Once again ill also post my AncestryDNA results 2 help you better understand them i guess haha
AncestryDNA: 67% european, 27% african, 3% middle eastern, 2% central asian, 1% native american
DNA.LAND: 55% Northwest european, 13% mediterranean islander, 3.2% finnish, 2.2% balkan, 1.4% ambigious.
Now here for my Gencove results.
Gencove: 50% northern and central europe, 25% western africa, 14% eastern mediterranean, 7% northeast europe, 2% southwestern europe, 1% america, 1% northeast asia
Alright, so first of the bat i REALLY want to know what there is ment with Mediterranean islander or eastern mediterranean, does it mean turkish? or israeli? Because i also scored decently high mediterranean on almost every Gedmatch test, around 15%-24% max, it also said this. "Italian/EastSicilian in Italy, Mediterranean islander/Ashkenazi/Levantine. We found 13% Mediterranean islander ancestry." said DNA.LAND, so if that 13-14% were to be levantine it would make more sense for me aswell, because on Gedmatch i used 2 score fairly high on west asian and SW asian combined with eachother (almost always around 10-14%, and sometimes also combined with balochi or similar.)
So what do you guys think about my results? is 13-14% eastern mediterranean more to the levant or is it not? i would really wish 2 know haha
