What were your favourite and least favourite subjects in school?

Favorite: mathematics, English, literature

Least favorite: PE, the "analyze" parts of history and civics. It's literally a way that someone tells you how to think. I'm not interested in that, and I'm not going to be a whore for a higher grade (my parents taught me to be honest).

I only loved geography. no other favourite subjects, I quite hated school and classmates. unfortunately. I think I could have done much more in school and in terms of higher education, but with the prospects for poor families back in the 90s and early 2000s in Romania it didn't look like school will get you any more money than lack of school, even teachers or different other professionals were quite poor, the dream back then was to break the country border and work lower class jobs in some other country I hope my kids will make better use of school, I will do my best to help them

I used to at least try to put dedication into all subjects. My interests might've changed with time but I think I just didn't love or hate any of them. Geography and History could have caught my attention the most for some time because of all History movies and some Encyclopediae and Atlas my parents had at home that I'd view as some kind of old and secret knowledge.

In college I liked Calc and other Math classes but found some Physics ones to be uninteresting, such as those involving Kinematics. Quantum Chemistry and Coordination Chemistry were Hell on Earth. I ended up focusing on Electroanalytical Chemistry and now that I've finished my degree I'm trying to pursue other interests, for instance Economics, Programming, Languages, Literature, and Philosophy. The hard part is having time for it.

Favorite: Up until middle school I loved biology. In elementary school, when I was 9-10 yo, I wanted to become a vet. In middle school I participated in biology school Olympics: first on school level, then on county level. Didn’t went further, on country level. But my interest in this subject, began to wane afterwards.
In high school, I liked logics. Understanding logics then, helped me later. That’s because in college, again I had to study it and our professor was a stern guy, everyone was scared off. But I managed to pass his exam, without stressing too much.

Least favorite:
-Math by far. I believe I was mathematically challenged. I remember in elementary school I once crying with frustration, over the exercises I didn’t knew how to solve. And another time, also in elementary school, it was late in the night and was still solving math exercises. I felt sick from the stomach, and puked over the desk.
-Chemistry.
-Physics, so and so. There were times when I was understanding certain chapters and things made sense, and other times… the opposite.
