Genetically Scandinavians are closer to Celts like the Irish and Scots than to Balts especially Norwegians and Danes. That's easy to find and also shows on Gedmatch calcs.








I grew up on Irish and Welsh legends. Also Early Celtic literature is rich and fascinating. Everyone knows who Merlin is.

At the beginning of the 15th century, share of Old Prussians among rural population was:

Western East Prussia ---- 38%
Northern Ermland ------- 50%
Southern Ermland ------- 75%
Natangia ----------------- 90%
Sambia ------------------ 100%

Finns aren't Scandinavian. Also Swedes are closer to British Isles than Balts.
