    Default PISA results 2017

Again the same trends continued....European students (age of 15 years old) are leaving more and more from the speed of others.

This time only Estonians and Finns (= Finnics) were able to get in top 8. Now students collaborative and problem solving skills were tested.

    http://www.oecd.org/pisa/

    Scores:

    •561 Singapore
    •552 Japan
    •541 Hongkong
    •538 Korea
    •535 Canada
    •535 Estonia
    •534 Finland
    •534 Macao
    •533 New-Zealand
    •531 Australia

(Finland...which has earlier been many times among of top 3 countries in PISA results => Finns girls still scored very well this time 559...only 2 points behind of Singapore (inside of variations), but Finns boys were already clearly much behind. No other country among of top 8 had as big gap between genders.)

Overall something to think about as this really looks worse and worse everytime for Europeans.

I'd like to compare their scores with Indians (and Asians) in the USA.

Sorry, PISA won't analyse material that way.

And it is good to keep in minds that together Finns and Estonians are only 6,7million people...like a water drop in
    Europe.

Because european youngs are only thinking in alcohol, drugs, nightclubs, idealizing football players, absurd tv programs (MTV style) and that kind of unproductive shit. You only have to read the comments on this forum to test this.

What do you think is the reason of the gap between boys and girls in Finland?

About Asia...for example the results of Japan are obvious, japanese society is extremely competetitive and their citizens are becoming in robots. They have big problems with suicide rates, isolation of teenagers in their homes, adults who are unable of get a girlfriend, strange social hobbies who are product of that psicological isolation, etc.

Finland is well known for the great education system.
Estonians are wannabe Finns. They copy everything Finnish - include the system of education - that's the whole miracle.

Portugal performed well once again, the only Southern European nation to be above all OECD averages on science, math and reading. According to the study, Portuguese students are also the ones who enjoy to watch the success of their colleagues, those who take more into account what interests others and those who feel that teams make better decisions than individuals.

Brazilians results are ridiculous just as expected, lol

They are trying to change the education system right to something similar to Portugal, but that's not the problem, IMO.

Would you prefer people living as robots? European youth has more value than Asian youth which is essentially just existing for production. I can't blame them since Asians would be fucked in all possible ways on this planet if it wasn't for hard work through education.

Well that result actually surprised even experts here. But I have my own opinion (as always )
1.) girls are (at that age range 7 => 15years old) more thorough students.
2.) school's system/teaching methods do not motivate boys same ways.
3.) group pressure (boys might become school bullyied easier if they study harder).
