What is exactly the Pontid type?

Hi,

Wasn't Pontus in North East of Turkey? So why are most of the Pontid phoenotypes said to be Ukrainian, Moldavian etc? Is the Pontid race still alive in Turkey? Or is it because as it is a European forum Turkey isn't mentioned?
Furthermore what is their difference with the Atlantid race? Pontid seem to have juvenile facial features, so wouldn't it be close to a depigmentised alpine-med race?

Pontid's dont exist in Ukraine but its a pure Med type similar to AtlantoMed.
Pontids core population exist in Greece and Bulgaria only and to a lesser degree to other neighbor countries and Romania

Ukraine type have North Pontid and not the Med Pontid

Pontid's took this name from the Black Sea region , have nothing to do with Caucasian phenotypes
Few Pontids exist also on Turkey, but they have Med roots and are not natives
