It's not so widely studied nowadays because most of its potential archaeological sights are either in Iraq or Syria and in all fairness those places are not the most suitable places for archaeological investigations at least during the last decades. Most studies conducted in there were during the colonial period, either by France or Great Britain.

But on anthro forums, Mesopotamia gets shitted on constantly and to call someone a Mesopotamian is considered an insult, instead Steppe herders get all the glory, even though they were backwards and uncivilized. Why is that??
Because they think the asian steppe nomads were the white european (nordic) looking....))))))

It is laughable fantasy, fueled by Hitler and 19th century white racialist scientists. That's all.

Remember that anthrotards are just anthrotards. They aren't some historians. They are anthrotards so they fetishize phenotype and genotype. To them, Mesopotamians aren't much if they are viewed as just a bunch of swarthy Iraqis to their eyes. Also, they are much harder to claim if they aren't from any lands near Europe. Though tbf, I have seen some people (even on this forum) claim the Mesopotamians were White.

Well the ancient Egyptians were described by ancient authors and in paintings even as darker compared to Semitic people such as Mesopotamians

But guess what even they were claimed to be Nordic looking by a minority of users on these boards

At least they claimed the ruling class"Pharaos" as Nordics

Mesopotamians are much harder to claim since they have almost zero direct connection to Europe. Egypt is different in that regard.

Yeah perhabs but in terms of look it doesn't mean anything.

Egyptians were certainly much darker than Semites and didn't look Nordic at all.

People on Anthroboards think if there are any connections to Europe they would start immediately look like this because of that

It was an invention of ENF people who were later subjagated by Cordeds, not "mesopotamians".
