Phoenicians i think weren't exactly same as Israelites but possibly influenced by them . Herodotus(father of History) splits the Phoenicians into 2 parts . Non _Semites and Semites .So possibly we have extra elements(possibly other populations living there) in them rather of pure Israelites . Phoenicians had perfect relations with the Greeks which ended up very competitive at the very end . That though did not came only by the Phoenician side but from the Greeks too . Cause we have the arrival of other Greek tribes . As long as i remember Seidon was the capital of Phoenicians . I don't know though if Seidon its related to the Greek God of seas PoSeidon . We might have a connective link there .

Phoenicians were pretty much the forefathers of modern Lebanese people.
I mean the stock of people which is native Lebanese not other groups of Arabs who migrated recently there from the South.

So basicly a blend of Semitic and other Non Semitic native Med people.

This explains also the similarities to Cyprus and parts of South Italian people
The Talmud tells us that the only language the Torah could be translated into elegantly is Greek.

That appears to be similar in phenotype to these Libyans (ancient Egyptian fresco, leftmost figures in fancy clothes):

And according to Greek mythology, the Phoenicians are descended from Libya. Even in Jewish mythology, the Canaanites are descended from Ham, which probably refers to North Africa (whereas the Israelites are descended from Shem - who in the fresco above is second from the right (Semites)).
Libya was a Greek colony founded by Libya the daughter of Epaphus in 1600 BC. Which is why these colonists joined the Sea peoples, tribes and "lands united" as Ramses calls them. They were descended form Libya the daughter of Epahus the son of Io the daughter of Inachus. Even the Athenians had colonies in Egypt and the Greek colony of Cyrenia. To sail to Cyrene in Libya the Greeks sailed due south from Crete in Mycenaean times. In Cyprus Paphos was the main port in Mycenaean times.

In fact the Greeks taught Libyans how to build cities and cultivate the wine.

Heracles, before traveling to the country of Girionis, decided to campaign to Libya (a name Greeks gave to the entire continent of Africa). Upon his arrival there, he met the famous giant Antaious (possibly in the area around the Cyrenian city of Irasa) fought him and defeated him. From then on, free from any threat, Heracles proceeded to kill or tame the wild beasts ravishing the country and build huge irrigatory systems. Thus he civilized Libya teaching the local people how to cultivate and build cities. He arrived in a wild half-desert country and left it a rich, full of olive trees and vineyards, paradise.

"After crossing the arid area of Libya, Heracles reached a country fertile with abundant waters. There he built a city admired for her size, which named her Ekatompilo, because of the number of its gates. And the prosperity of this country was preserved till the early years, whence the Karhedonians (Carthaginians) with a significant army and able generals campaigned against her and conquered her." Diodoros Siceliotis D', 18, 1-2

Diod. Siceliotis also tells us that Heracles then crossed to Egypt where he killed Voushiri, the inhumane king of that country. Siceliotis gives us two reasons for this. First, Voushisiri was punished because he used to kill anyone that landed on his country, trying to fulfill an oracle and stop a nine year old famine. Second, because Voushiri had stolen the Esperides.

It is also correct that part of Phoenicians descended from Libya. Phoenicia is more a geographic term as Greeks did take part in the Phoenician ethnogenesis. Phoenicians were named after Phoenix who's family originally came from Greece. Libya was a Greco-Phoenician colony.

There is no such thing as Semites. According to the bible Shem was the brother of Japheth of Iapetus who was the ancestor of the Hellenes, Thracians, Rhodiains, and Cretans.

The Bible says very clearly that all of the decedents of Noah/Janus/Ogyges were Indo-Europeans.

The Noah's Ark story is a copy of the Deukalion Flood story.

The only people who can positively identified from this story are the Thracians, Rhodians, Cretans/Cypriots and Hellenes. This makes all of Nohas decedents Europeans. Japheth was a European, Ham was a European and Shem was a European since Y-Chromosome DNA is passed directly from father to son.

Oh no . Semites are an Afro-Asiatic group which have nothing to do with IE Europeans. Btw Semites mainly carry haplogroups such as E1b1b, J1, J2 etc so no they don't have the same haplogroups as the rest

The Albanians, these tigers of mountain wars ... have as their religion rebellion. Even their worst warrior is one of the strongest and bravest on the battle-field, just as if he was a knight on the legendary horse. But he has no horse, nor proper weapons for battle. Instead of the horse, he has a lance which strikes as lightning, he has spears who's points are full of posion as the sting of hornets, he has also a wooden bow with some arrows. Furthermore, he is stronger than iron ...

Again, this is a pathetically ethno-centric view. Why do you think Greeks took part in Phoenician ethnogenesis??? I've found absolutely nothing to support that view, and Greek sources seem to affirm the opposite

Coon was very "minimalistic" with his phenotypes, he divided med into 3 categories: Long Face(Atlanto Med), Danubian and Small Med(gracile med), so what we today call Orientalid or East Med is basicly what Coon calls "long faced mediterranids from East mediterranean region", in a metric sense, they are pretty much similar, but in their morphology lies the diferance!
