I'm not saying that's your case (clearly not) but what's the problem to live in a country without too much snow? It's better, no?
Many people here perceive ''snow'' as being an ''European'' thing, like mountains, forests etc. hahaha. I have seen even discusions about it between Italians and Iberians to prove which group has the most ''European'' topography and climatic zones in their countries.
The most snowy place I have been was in North India/Nepal though, far more colder and snowy than most of Europe.

I don't live in Europe (although predominantly european genetically) but I can feel you.
I saw snow 2 times in my life. It snows every winter only in the far north mountains (the border with Lebanon and Syria), I live next to the Mediterranean sea, and it never snows here, We barely have 14 days of rain a year, you can tan during winter, and I still put my air conditioner on cold.
Atleast I know that when I'll leave (in few years) I'll have snow every year

While most of Portugal is currently experiencing strong winds and lower than average temperatures, residents in the Serra da Estrela in central Portugal have seen roads shut down due to heavy snow falls.
