I would also commit suicide if I was surrounded by Labs/Labradors for more than 5 minutes.

His description of Ghegs is succinct and portrays mostly their character. On his general notions he makes a more broadly depiction of Albanians in general, including daily life costumes, what they eat, how they live, their houses, clothing, etiquette, pastimes, music, etc. His perception is very negative and I don't see why Ghegs shouldn't be encompassed in it. Ghegs being less dirty according to him doesn't necessarily mean they were not dirty. Just less.

He is one of many Europeans who visited or lived in the region. Sometimes people are influenced from their personal experiences. What count is history. And according to history, his employer Ali Pasha, together with his compatriots(because Ali Pasha was a Lab) said no to the most powerful man of his time, Napoleon Bonaparte, when the Corsican was at the top of his power and the whole Europe was at his knees. Not only this, but he attacked and invaded different coastal cities in Epir that were under French control.
