No we were not, we had our own Church which was completely unrelated to Rome.

Our rulers fought the Pope few times.

I occasionally use Cyrillic Alphabet cause I've always respected tradition of my people, but today I have been verbally attacked for using Cyrillic Alphabet as it is "foreign" alphabet.

I am asking all Bosnians here, do you feel that we should push for Cyrillic Alphabet as our forefathers used before?
Are all Bosniaks taught Cyrillic in school?

Bosnia was officially Western chatolic kingdom before Turks. But Bosnian rulers still used "bosančica".

Only a King was Catholic, people rejected him cause they refused to convert to Catholicism as well.

Ottoman Empire conquered Bosnia easily cause Bosnian Lords and commoners refused to fight alongside Catholic King.

Conversions to Islam were helped by a religious turmoil in Bosnia before Ottomans.

    Well he failed, miserably....

You can't enforce people to fight under the Crown of Pope if they refuse it.

What sect do you think most of his subjects followed? Bogomolism? Catholicism? Orthodoxy?

Even Serbs are starting to use Latin script, why care about a script that is going to die soon anyway?

Bosnian Church wasn't Bogomilist Church, it was Chalcedonian Christianity that survived the Split it may be even older than Chalcedon.

It's probably Illyrian Church that was succeeded by Slavs later.
