The human race has PEAKED: Study says we have hit the limit for height, lifespan and physical performance - and could soon move backwards

Experts analysed 120 years worth of historical information, and concluded maximum limits for height, lifespan and physical performance have been met.

'Human height has decreased in the last decade in some African countries; this suggests some societies are no longer able to provide sufficient nutrition for each of their children and maintain the health of their younger inhabitants,' Prof. Toussaint explains.

WHAT CAN BE DONE?
To avoid us being the cause of our own decline, the researchers say they hope their findings will encourage policymakers to focus on strategies for increasing quality of life and maximize the proportion of the population that can reach these maximum biological limits.

'Now that we know the limits of the human species, this can act as a clear goal for nations to ensure that human capacities reach their highest possible values for most of the population,' said Professor Jean-François Toussaint from Paris Descartes University, France.

'With escalating environmental constraints, this may cost increasingly more energy and investment in order to balance the rising ecosystem pressures.

However, if successful, we then should observe an incremental rise in mean values of height, lifespan and most human biomarkers.'
Prof. Toussaint warns however, 'The utmost challenge is now to maintain these indices at high levels.'

I think Only north Europeans and north americans hit the height limit.

The author believes that we will be able to reverse the aging process at some point in the future.

Tons of evidence point at a degeneracy of the once superior races:
• life expectancy of middle class non-Hispanic American Whites is currently decreasing,
• IQ measurements are right now showing a "reversed Flynn effect" at work,
• immigration of vastly inferior racial stock,
• junk food, poisonous pesticides, hormonal modifiers in the environment etc.,
• centuries of biological deselection, due to advanced medicine, are taking their toll.

I noticed in my genealogy that among my ancestors, all dirt poor farmers in the early 19th century, half of the children died before reaching 20, which kept average life expectancy very low. But the surviving ones could live and work hard into their 80's without ever visiting a doctor.

The wealthy elites will be able to afford costly treatments that will extend their life expectancy well over 100 years. But not you and me.
Free medical care as we still have in most of Europe is unsustainable in the long term.

That is to be expected; this is our natural, biological limit without enhancements of slowing down the aging process via one's telomeres. The natural remedy to being healthy is simply eating well and exercise; and just hope for the best.

Its not wise to fiddle with our natural design by how nature intended it by trying to halt the inevitable; some things are better the way they are rather than how we want them to be.
