Pope Francis: ‘Relationships With Jesus Are Dangerous And Harmful’
I have listened to his speech in the link. Basically, it comes down to Francis saying that in order to be a Christian, you have to belong to the church. In essence, to him this is even more important than to know Jesus Christ. In fact, he calls a personal relationship with Jesus Christ "dangerous". In his own words:
There are those who believe they can maintain a personal, direct and immediate relationship with Jesus Christ outside the communion and the mediation of the Church. These are dangerous and harmful temptations.
Yes, shocking. Not so much to me though, because I knew what to expect of him. And looking at these blasphemous words more closely, I think that besides him essentially discouraging Christians to know Jesus more intimately and personally, he said this in order to get total and blind obedience from Christians to the Catholic Church -- and by extension to himself.
There is no doubt in my mind that he is an antichrist and a false prophet. He will be thrown into the lake of fire by the same Jesus who he decided to blaspheme, when he comes in great power and glory, soon. Thank God.
