If this is real hair color, not dyed and there is no issues of taking photo (Sun light, flashes etc), then his hair color looks interesting. You do not see that here. I doubt they have that hair color much in UK either?
Mine? It is whiter, his is much more yellowness. Now which is lighter?
Are you sure he just is not albino? Based on his eyebrows and especially eyelashes I could think so.
BTW: As you are so keen on this kind of matters (who is the lightest) ... how you see human albinos? Meaning here the gene itself? Is it just one among of other genes or could it be called mistake of genes? Just asking that as with quite many mammals, albinism is linked to some other issues. Often negative.

That is his real hair color. Why are you so surprised? The Anglo - Saxons came from Denmark. The fairest- haired person in my high school was an Australian of English descent, his hair was just like that.
