Firstly, you say there is no evidence of child sacrifice in native European religions, and then in the next paragraph you say "In Germanic paganism, human sacrifice was also rare". Hmm... Germanics are not European? Or what?
Pagan enthusiasts love to rail against "Semitic religions". I don't care about Semitic religions, it's irrelevant. Jesus Christ is the Lord and King of European civilization, and his kingdom is enshrined in our culture, rightfully. Because he is the only truth that there is.
Accept Jesus and discard this pagan nonsense, which will only drag you to eternal damnation in hell. It's no joke. I will absolutely not promote this dangerous nonsense on my forum again, having realised how damaging it can be to one's salvation.

There was a scholarly article written about shamanism in Norse myth. The Norse had two different kinds of magic i.e. Seidr, which was typically considered women's magic and was generally thought unfit for a man to practice due to its hidden, secretive nature and Galdr which was more typically employed by men and was a form of ritual singing. Odin learned Seidr from Freya and took the form of animals and a woman, and he also went to the realm of the dead. So, to say that shamanism didn't exist among the Norse, I'm not so sure.
If you can find a full copy of this text, it discusses Norse shamanism. https://www.scribd.com/document/2554...orse-Tradition
I don't see why the Norse wouldn't have had some sort of shamanism considering that the Berserkrs were able to work themselves into an ecstatic frenzy when they went into battle.
