Bosnia: 13 arrested for war crimes against Serbs

Members of the SIPA agency in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday arrested 13 persons suspected of committing war crimes against Serbs.

The arrests took place in Konjic and Sarajevo, while the crimes were committed during the 1990s war in the area of Bradina, a village near the town of Konjic.

SIPA said in a statement quoted by Beta that the suspects will be turned over to the Prosecution of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

48 Serb civilians were murdered in a most brutal way in May 1992 in Bradina, while others were taken to camps or expelled.

During May 25-27 that year, members of Bosniak and Croat units threw 26 bodies of their victims into a pit in front of the village's Serbian Orthodox church.

22 more Serb civilians died in the camps, while five remain listed as missing.

To be fair, the people arrested here were a few nobodies with unknown names. It's not fair to compare them to Mladic or Praljak. I don't know what Bosniaks think of Oric, but it would be better to compare him to Mladic and co.

That's the point, Bosniaks will prosecute their own to the last. Oric was found not guilty by justice and other high profile Bosniak criminals were executed by Bosniak secret services since most of them commited crimes against Bosniaks too.
