Nje njeri me emrin Filippo Castriota, nga Italia, i shkruan Ismail Qemailit pasi shpalli pavarsin e Shqiperis:
Duke degjuar per punen e madhe qe keni bere, shprehi adhurimin tim me te madh
Ismail Qemali pergjigjet se:
Faleminderit per urimet, paraardhesi yt (nenkuptohet Gjergj Kastrioti) eshte ne mesin ton, na udhezon dhe mberon

Postcard from Prizren, sent from Vienna on December 22, 1912. Oskar Prochaska was the Austro-Hungarian consul in Prizren from 1906 to 1912. He was forced to leave Prizren in November 1912, after the Serbian invasion of Kosovo. (Elsie, 2012)

A reminder of what Kastrioti and his small army had to constantly overcome time after time:
As you can see the ottoman already had full control over greek, bulgarian and serbian lands so were coming in all directions. If the serbs and greeks spent less time being cowards and praying to jesus we all could have wiped out the entire ottoman army in the 15th century. Instead they were handing over their own sisters & daughters to the ottoman, I'm looking at you Stefan Lazarevic
He even found the time and capacity to help others but did they ever return the favour? The lack of help for Kastrioti from europe was sickening, was it jesus that protected them? No it was a real hero named Kastrioti
"From 1461 to 1462, Skanderbeg campaigned in Italy to protect his ally, Ferdinand I, from being overrun by the Angevin dynasty which claimed the Kingdom of Naples. Before setting out for Italy, Skanderbeg forged a truce with Sultan Mehmed II. Upon returning to Albania after securing Ferdinand, the Venetians became hostile to Skanderbeg and a sort of undeclared war took place. Mehmed saw an opportunity to attack Skanderbeg and sent three armies in one year. All three were defeated by Skanderbeg, however, in August 1462 making it the first time that he would win three battles against the Ottomans in one month."
Ottoman were pure scum, an undeclared war when their army was tenfold bigger, pathetic weak inferior men. I don't understand anyone who "respects" or likes turkey
