I like Y Ddraig Goch but I don't think it looks aesthetically pleasing on the flag pictured...too much red.

In my opinion the Welsh flag and national animal is probably the coolest in Britain (unicorn of Scotland despite the girly associations is also neat.) The English have the best flower though (rose beats thistle and daffodil.)

It looks cool, it has always bothered me how Wales isn't featured on the Union Jack as prominently as the others, or at all really.

Wales should definitely be featured on the royal coat of arms.

I've shoddly added in the Royal Badge of Wales, based on Llwelyn the Great's 13th century coat of arms, to the national coat of arms, I think the official UK coat of arms would look better this way.

It's because Wales is a principality and Wales does not also have a heraldry court, it falls under older English rule before the United Kingdom.

But then we have the harp and also the St Patrick cross in UK symbols when the majority of Ireland is not even in the UK!
