German soldiers fat?

This was ten years ago. Is it still a problem. I have been reading articles where the Czechs have the same issues. Seems to be a problem everywhere? How? When I was in the service we were constantly running. Could someone move this to the English entry??

They for sure wont be accepted in the German army when they apply, because there are fitness tests and medical tests. But once you are in the army you might can let yourself go a little bit, but not in a extend where you are fat and not capable of fighting.

Don't let those pics fool you. Those kind of guys do not get in the U.S. Army either and ones that get that fat get chaptered out. By the way, Germany has very good SOF units.

I wasnt referring to the pictures of the fat american soldiers, dont worry mate. The problem in the US and German army is that transgender "soldiers" are accepted. The few obese soldiers, that probably arent even in fighting units, arent a problem.

Don't believe everything published by toilet-paper rags like the Daily Mail and its bin-worthy competition, the Telegraph. A chimpanzee sitting behind a typewriter would be a better journalist than some hired by either "paper".

That has been a issue for us for a while. I was surprised to read euro armies having these issues.
