The scale of those rapes is clearly a myth.

Also lots of German women voluntarily dated Red Army soldiers during the occupation (1945+ into 1950s). On Anthrogenica there was some guy who posted DNA results of a German "mother from Silesia, father a Red Army officer", but it wasn't rape.

They actually tried to find this Red Army officer because he went back to Russia when his service in Germany ended.

The anti-americanism is growing pretty much lately, here in Germany.

The main anti american force are the leftists, they managed to gain power in Germany around 1968, and were pushed be the events taking part in the Vietnam war, also since it was during cold war they favoured the GDR and Soviet Union. America stands for capitalism and "imperialism" the things the left hates the most. These leftist from the 1968 revolution are now in very high position in Media, education and poltics and especially spread anti americanism in schools and media.

Another anti american front are the islamic immigrants, and they sadly are a big part of Germany now and influence our media and public opinions.

The last notable anti american front are some right wing people, they dont like the fact that we are still occupied or just hate any nation that fought against us in WW2.

But really the regular German does like americans, but mosty dislikes the United States as nation.

A significant part especially from the right wing consinders Germany as occupied some even deny that German is a souverign country, due to the fact that the German people never were able to vote for our own Constitution and there are still foreign military bases in Germany. There are also yearly protest that keep growing and growing at the Rammstein air base, with the slogan "ami go home".

I personally dont think that Germany is not a souverign nation, but yea partly occupied by the United states. But not in a big extend, and I dont see how this is a factor to my countries problem. I would like to see all those us bases closed but on the other hand I dont care alot, there are bigger issues.

I expect the U.S. to be forced out of Germany in the next five years. Just a opinion.

This wont happen, its not a big issue to most people wether they see Germany as occupied or not. And only 2 parties on our Pairlament would actually want them to be closed.

I wish Trump would keep his campaign promise and closes them, but the deep state wouldnt let that happen. And from a us strategic standpoint I totally understand that you wont close these bases.

And as faer I understand, US bases are also US soil, so we cannot even make you close them, even if our politicans would want to. If you wanna visit Germany, and avoid these pointless anti americans, I can advice you many places.

I was stationed at Garlstedt for two years. Travelled. You have some good people. The young women were kind but some of them hated us too.
