    Default Lufthansa's customer service sucks

    I missed the connecting flight with Lufthansa because their earlier flight was delayed and they refused to compensate which is against the European Aviation rules. Their customer service was in Philippines!!! for a flight from Europe to the US and they said it was the fault of a third party first. When I explained this is still Lufthansa's fault, they retracted and said there was fog. It was a sunny day! Why Lufthansa, WHY. I checked online and their customer service had only one star reviews, thousands of them. I was shocked.

    Lufthansa is OK, but many of their employees are super rude.

    I feel you bro.
    The thing is, in germany no company is allowed to have a monopoly.
    Most countries only have one mayor aviation company, but because this would be against the german laws, lufthansa is crippled by the state.
    Also, lufthansa likes to appeal to progressives a lot. For example if you fly with them, dont expect some german beauties serving you. It will most likely be some 60 year old greasy guy, because they wanna show thar people of all age and gender are accepted in their ranks :/

    Heh. The problem I ever encountered with Lufthansa was a lay-over in Hong Kong due to a delayed PAL flight. I love Lufthansa: good food, excellent service, seats are reasonable.

    Lufthansa has outsourced their customer service to some asian country and doesn't give refunds as they are supposed to by aviation laws. Their rep lied to me and said the flight was delayed cause of bad weather, it was a sunny day. Completely irresponsible and third world. I will get it eventually but why the hassle.

    That must have been very recent then. I always had very good experiences with them but thanks for the warning.
