It was never supposed to exist. Jesus came to Earth to help make people better Jews, not to make them Christians.

I get it that Christianity is hated. But at the same token enjoy the macro cultural elements it brings; such as Christmas, Easter the Family Unit and even the micro cultural nuiances on an ethnicity or village basis.

...and yet all those that despise chistianity and yet live with it every day enjoying it - makes one as hypocritical as one can get.

So let me ask, if you are going to spend Christmas with your family and how will you feel once its done - will it be soul fulfilling?

The video above wasn't a Christianity-bashing video. It was just a historical "what if" for people to ponder over.

It is no such thing as "what if"

We would probably be running around with no morals, no structure - just ragtags falling into degeneracy in one fell swoop.

The one thing Christianity has done though it has made people far more "dumber" than humans should be - this is my only issue with it but other than that - on a moral and structure issue it is one of beauty.

No. God first made a covenant with the Jews to be his witness. Christ fulfilled the covenant with the Jews AND fulfilled the OT prophesies that God would then bring salvation to ALL people. Christ tasked Peter and Paul and the rest of the Apostles with bringing the Gospel to all nations, all peoples. Christ "opened Christianity for the Gentiles" when He gave Peter the vision of the table cloth...immediately before Peter was sent by God to convert the Roman official and his household. In Christ we are no longer Gentile or Jew, servant or free...we are just Christians.

The Old Testament was in force so long Jesus was alive. The new testament is in force after his death.

Hebrews 9:15-17
“And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.”

Bullshit. The bible was morally and culture BACKWARD when it was written and totally inferior to the Greek literature of the time. The Jewish religion wasn't invented until 100 BC. Monotheism is not even an invention of Jews but Plato. Jews used to be rampant Polytheists. The Old Testament God was whoever was Pharao at the time. Plato's entire notion of god was plagiarisee and superimposed it on the religion of the Jews.

The Greek and Roman Laws and Constitutions and their legal systems were infinitely more advance and superior to the ten commandments and leviticus which was in the stone age. Greek science was over 3 millennia ahead of anything mentioned in the bible and modern science and thinking is over 5 millennia ahead of it.
