Today, Zoran Zaev, FYROM Prime Minister said: We are ready to abandon claims on Alexander the Great.

Now, question is: Are Fyromanians Slavs?

Who are they?

As we can see from this K36 Macedonian MAP, they obviously share ENORMOUS amount of Greek DNA almost as much as Greeks.

So who can tell them they can't claim Alexander the Great? NOBODY. Just because of fanciful political reasons those people will be striped out from history.

Fyromanians HAVE right on Alexander the Great just as much as any Greek.

They are just Slavicized Greek mixed people mostly.

Macedonia varies greatly, depending on where the sample is taken. Some members in eastern Macedonia have more than 50% Slavic admixture. In the West, they have 0-10% admixture.

We have people with less Greek DNA in Italy, Romania, Ukraine, Egypt, Georgia etc and feel Greek.

I struggle to understand why people think these people have high Greek DNA, if they did they would feel Greek but they don't - it is a falacy.

The Greeks in Ukraine their last ancestor probably stepped foot on the motherland some 700 years ago and yet their Greekness is super strong. Fyromians can at best be described Bulgaricized Greeks that don't want to be Bulgarian that tried to be Serbian but will now become Albanian.

I am not sure what this has to do with us considering they have been indoctrinated in a non-Greek way.

Zaev said *SOLE* heirs, which is correct. We are not the only heirs of Alexander

Wrong headline. Zaev never said that. He just said that Vardar Macedonians shouldn't be the sole heirs of Alexander the Great. He said that both both Greeks and Vardar-Macedonians should be allowed to claim him instead of only Vardar-Macedonians.
