Default Continental ancestry in Latin america depending on caucasian range. Gedmatch 2.800 samples

Continental ancestry in Latin america depending on caucasian range. Gedmatch 2.800 samples

Samples added by Birdman, Vascontelo, Litvin and me.

Take into consideration some of NEA (Northeast african) and SSA (Sub Saharan African) can be found in southern europeans.

Chile seems to be consistently a little less SSA than Argentina or Paraguay.

Yes. Very interesting, especially the case of Paraguay.
Indeed, something which many people ignore is that in Paraguay pure guaraní people are just only a few.
And also other ethnic groups in western Paraguay like ayoreos or chamakokos and qom are a very little minority too.
Paraguay is in essence a mixed country with a very little pure native population.

Here in conurbano (and specially where i live) there are a lot of paraguayans and the truth is that they NEVER look like Bolivians. Most look like mestizos/harnizos.

Exactly. And in my opinion the most of them are far more similar with many our compatriots of the North and NEA than bolivians and andean peruvians.
