People struggle keeping secrets. Sadly life isn't too fair. Only in some cases does karma strike back at people for their misdeeds; while others die as karma houdinis.

And in some cases people's karma strikes back at old age.

The punisment people get in this life is all they will get,thats why as someone in the law enforcement sector I have always campaigned for that punishment to be as harsh as possible.

There is no bearded man with a book waiting after death to count people's sins.If someone died without being held accountable for his actions by the authorities,then justice will never be served to him.

Not sure, as in what would settling on a question like this for “yes” or “no” ultimately affect what I do daily? That I have the crutch of imagining that if people wrong me, I should keep submitting pieces of self to those same people’s actions with the comfort of knowing underhandedly that they will be punished for hurting me?

I think people should be moral and kind to others because it’s a genuine action from the heart with no bearing on a higher justice.

A higher justice is someone watching over you and judging your own actions. If you sin you should apologize and be forgiven. If not forgiven you should move on but feel sorry for your actions it's as simple as that so that you don't go to hell when you die
