The whole message of Jesus can be summed up into loving others. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command.
We know it is wrong to murder, steal, and cheat; but are there a million laws we should be trying to keep, or how do we know if we are doing the right thing?
If everybody loved God and each other, like Christ loved us, there would be no murder, no hate, no bitterness, no adultery, no stealing nor any other kind of sin, if we only loved God with all our heart and our neighbor as our own self.
We cannot pay the price for our sins
Our works does not save us, but by God's grace we are saved ( Ephesians 2:8-9) But Faith without the works of love is dead.. Salvation cannot be earned; it is a free gift from God (Ephesians 2:8, 1 John 5:11) if only we will accept it.

The author of the video is not criticizing what is written in the Bible, if one actually watches the video, he motivates and substantiates his arguments with passages from the Bible. e.g. Jesus being the Word of God:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)
"He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God." (Revelations 19:13)
What he is saying is that many Christians nowadays know qthe Bible, but that they do not know God. Many Christian church leaders have encouraged young Christians to read the Bible daily in order to grow spiritually strong. And while the Bible is the most important book a Christian can read, reading it daily or for hours on end, memorizing passages etc. is not enough, one must also act according to what is said there. There are even Bible "experts" and theologians who can give you all kinds of details about its history, differences between editions, etc. yet have no experience with God themselves. They are proud of their knowledge but reject the invitation to know the Holy Spirit. For it is the Holy Spirit that gives eternal life. Bible study does not give eternal life. And the Holy Spirit does not dwell in the Bible, it dwells in every believer (that is also what the Bible says).
God uses the Bible as an "instruction manual" to prepare and equip his people for doing his good work while the Holy Spirit is the teacher/guide. Christians who have received and have the Holy Spirit with them are inspired where and what to read in the Bible. So there's the distinction: the Bible itself, the book, does not inspire, it does not speak to them, it's the Holy Spirit that does as they read it. The author has actually made another video about daily Bible reading in the same vein, where he explains the difference between a faithful, spirit-filled Cristian and a simple Bible reading Christian:
Also, this presentation by Torben Søndergaard of the Last Reformation explains it well: knowledge is not enough, obedience to the word of God is also necessary.
It's kind of long, but has a lot of truth in it. The essence is that Jesus did not come with a lot of theology and he did not start a Bible school. He simply said: Come and follow me. He called apprentices (disciples), who had to learn through his examples... So his teaching was a different kind of teaching from the preaching in churches nowadays. Torben makes a good analogy, if you want to repair a broken oven, it's not enough to read a book about it. Obviously, reading the book and learning the theory is essential, but so is having a master who takes you as an apprentice, first shows you how he does it a few times, then supervises you and corrects you until you finally gain some experience. That's kind of the role of the Holy Spirit. And if a Christian is guided by the Holy Spirit to preach, minister or teach people it does not only have to be in his church, community or on the street and does not only come in the form of reciting Bible verses, it can also be on Youtube or Facebook or on prime time for that matter. Torben Søndergaard has healed people through TV and Youtube. Sure, there is a lot of unsunbstantiated nonsense on Youtube and there are sects (like everywhere else), but there are also many helpful videos. Sometimes there is more truth in some Youtube videos than in what was preached in certain churches...
