I have two younger sisters and no brothers.

(I had a step-brother who was 2 years older than me, but he committed suicide last year, and I have a step-sister who's six months older than me.)

My father had 3 brothers and 1 sister, but one of his brothers died young when he was killed by a drunk driver in a road accident.

My Irish friend has 13 brothers and sisters.

A northern English friend of mine has 11 brothers and sisters, and a southern English female in my school also had 11 brothers and sisters!

On my family tree records I noticed that my maternal grandparents ancestors were having 11-14 children per family during the Victorian era.

(The English population doubled during the Victorian era and many people lived in overcrowded accommodation, despite the very high infant mortality rate of 1 in 6 infants dying before the age of 5. Children also perished during child labour in England. Victorian England had one of the worst infant mortality rates in the world, so I think that's the reason why people had lots of children during that era in England.)
