In Russia, that has no homosexual overtones, as I explained here:

This happens all over in USA, in both prisons and military. We've all heard about the "drop the soap" joke. Considering USA is so adept at pushing homosexual and even transgender individuals as "marines", it is not uncommon to encounter many gay soldiers among their ranks.
https://edition.cnn.com/2016/11/19/p...icy/index.htmlCNN)Lance Cpl. Aaron Wixson is looking forward to the day he can attend the annual Marine Corps Ball in the outfit he feels most comfortable in.
Last Friday, he wore female Dress Blues to the gala at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California. But next year, Wixson hopes to trade in the female uniform for the iconic Dress Blues worn by men -- the gender he identifies with even though it's not the one on his birth certificate.
Did you ever use a female dress while serving, mayne?

Having gays in the military isnt the same as an officer whoring out their men. You cant compare the two. Actually, allowing men to be open about their sexuality prevents shit like that. A suppression of homosexuality causes things like dedovschina. And the transgender thing, cant comment. Its official policy that trans soldiers are to be accepted and someone like me questioning that would result in me getting reprimanded.
I will say this though. Gender dysphoria, until recently, was classified as a mental disorder and you could be medically discharged for having it, but trans individuals have served honorably for years (even when trans weren’t allowed to join). There was even a pretty famous trans Ranger, though I forget her name.
And btw, Marines arent soldiers, they’re Marines.
