North Africa even now is only 15/20% negroid. It was much lower in pre-Islamic days.

The southern parts of North Africa have always been more negroid than the northern parts, even in ancient times. (The Garamantes in modern day southern Libya were portrayed as a borderline Caucasoid/Negroid group by the Romans and Greeks.) However, the southern part of North Africa has hardly any people.

Yemenis don't seem to have as much nigger blood as North Africans do when I look at their DNA kits. I think people overestimate the nigger blood in Yemenis due to their dark appearance. I think that the appearance of Yemenis has more (or at least as much) to do with their latitude than actual nigger admixture. I mean, look at how far south Yemen is. Even if Yemenis had 0.0% SSA they'd be darker than other Arab groups.
