Billion views youtube videos. Why are there so many of them now ?

I still think there's something weird going on. Properly they are popular but it's hard to know if they are as popular like their youtube views and awards tell us they are.

Maybe their best selling albums in 2016-2017 partially came from their government spending hundred millions of money. How do we know they are really no.1 in billboards and radios ? only the people in music station and radios will know.

When there's money involved you can pull of many tricks that make it seem they are no.1 in the world.

It's the newer generation making wonders. Children and teenagers all are heavy internet users now, which means anything Justin Bieber releases will get billions of views even if it's a pile of shit on a sitck like this for example (2.8 billion views):

While older videos barely have views because adults don't go to youtube that often. Like this famous Beatles song with 48 million views:

Britney Spears has a famous song from 1998 with more than 200 million views. But most old stars dont even have 60kk.
